Partners HealthCare Expands Use of Kyruus Technology Across Its Network to Enhance Patient Access

Kyruus, a leader in provider search and scheduling solutions for health systems today announced that Partners HealthCare has expanded its use of the Kyruus ProviderMatch™ suite of patient access solutions. With its latest agreement, Partners HealthCare is implementing ProviderMatch for Access Centers to enable a consistent patient experience across entry points. The integrated health system has been using the KyruusOne™ provider data management platform and ProviderMatch for Consumers solution since 2014 to help patients find the right providers on partners.org.

Over the coming months, the health system will deploy the enterprise-wide patient access initiative, leveraging rich provider information centralized in the KyruusOne platform. Partners will enable the Kyruus access center solution in many of its call centers, facilitating access to more than 8,000 providers across Partners and its entities, including Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham Health, North Shore Medical Center, and Newton-Wellesley Hospital.

“A step to help our patients have better access to our world-class providers is making detailed information about their expertise, availability, and locations more easily accessible,” said Gregg Meyer, MD, Chief Clinical Officer at Partners HealthCare. “This partnership can improve access to that care and enhance the overall patient experience.”

The robust ProviderMatch search capabilities make it easy for consumers and call center employees to identify the right providers for a patient’s clinical needs, logistical requirements, and personal preferences. Keyword-based search, dynamic filters, and comprehensive provider profiles deliver a modern user experience, while helping health systems align patient demand with network supply. Implementing ProviderMatch across the health system allows for a system-based approach to patient access.

“One of the biggest challenges for large health systems is operating as a truly integrated organization, particularly when it comes to patient access and provider data management,” said Graham Gardner, CEO of Kyruus. “Since the access experience sets the tone for the broader patient experience, it’s a natural place to start in establishing and reinforcing systemness. We’re thrilled to expand our relationship with one of the country’s leading health systems and enable their enterprise-wide approach to patient access.”
