Iggbo and DNA diagnostics center announce partnership

Iggbo and DNA Diagnostics Center (DDC) have announced a strategic partnership to empower consumers with valuable information contained in their own DNA. Since 1995, DDC has handled over 10 million DNA samples from 168 countries, offering tests for paternity, immigration, and other family relationships; ancestry; health and beauty; forensics, and genetic traits of animals. Leveraging Iggbo’s technology, DDC can now digitally dispatch specimen collection specialists to a patient’s home, a physician’s office, or to Iggbo’s network of care locations around the country.

“Iggbo’s partnership with DNA Diagnostics Center makes it possible to access their science in the most convenient, user-friendly way possible. Our technology coordinates point of care so that it occurs at the right time and place,” said Nuno Valentine, co-founder and CEO of Iggbo.

Since its launch, Iggbo has delivered on-demand specimen collection and other care in locations selected by patients around the country. Iggbo also operates a growing network of brick-and-mortar care locations in over 40 major markets.

This new partnership allows DDC to leverage Iggbo’s network of on-demand specialists and its brick-and-mortar network as a way to offer their customers personalized care. In addition, Iggbo’s award-winning Procedure Intelligence technology will help improve the efficiency and logistics of every care experience.

“To be an industry leader in genetic testing for over 20 years requires continual improvement. DDC has been the first to adopt leading technology to find ways to improve the quality and efficiency of handling every DNA sample,” said Connie Hallquist, CEO of DNA Diagnostics Center. “Our partnership with Iggbo is an example of our relentless pursuit of the best processes for our customers.”
